The team from Just Wheels in Tabora has been actively visiting beneficiaries at their homes this week. Given the challenging road conditions and the difficulty in locating some homes, the team manages to complete an average of three visits per day.

During these visits, they assess how the child or young person is adapting to their new wheelchair, check if it requires any maintenance, repairs, or adjustments, and ensure that the beneficiary and their family are fully trained in using and maintaining the wheelchair.
Whilst they were travelling to conduct their visits, they were also able to visit Moses and deliver his brand new wheelchiar. Moses lives in Iyombo, Nzega district, which is 10km off the main road, along a dirt track. He was nervous but happy to receive his first wheelchair and Moses' mother was pleased to learn how to safely navigate rough terrain and how to maintain the wheelchair.
The team also carry out thorough Monitoring and Evaluation to continuously assess our impact, ensure our services meet the needs of those we support, and importantly, confirm that the young person is attending school full-time.
